Saratoga Pride will be leading a group during the Capital Pride Parade on Sunday, June 14th, in Albany. Join us as we march, toss beads to the crowds, and pass out flags along the parade route!
Saratoga Pride volunteers will have a truck along with all of us marching. Brent Pickerd will also be DJing for us in the back of the truck. We will have Saratoga Pride banners, inflatable unicorns, and horse hats for folks, and will also be handing out items such as Pride flags and beads to parade goers. I also suggest having an umbrella handy just in case of inclement weather. Remember to wear your rainbows!
Our group must be completely in-place by 11:00AM before the parade begins at 11:30AM. If anyone arrives late, they may not be able to march in the Saratoga section of the parade.
Our usual meeting location is the corner of ENGLEWOOD PL and STATE ST at the entrance to WASHINGTON PARK. Due to traffic and parking concerns, we do recommend trying to get to the meeting location around 10:30AM.
