Saratoga Pride will be one of the many local organizations that will have a representative read a portion of the Declaration of Independence.
The Declaration of Independence was broadcast through the new United States by voice. Locally, it was read at City Hall in Albany on July 19, 1776, and was “received with applause and satisfaction.”
Join the National Park Service and members of the Saratoga County and Capitol Region communities once again publicly declaring independence! Featuring special guests, singers from Saratoga Voices! Large crowds are expected and parking is limited. Please carpool with family or friends if possible and be prepared to walk some distance from overflow parking areas.
