Celebrate Pride Day as we welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community to enjoy The Fair with a flag-raising ceremony and resource fair. The New York State Fair was the first state fair in America to host an official Pride Day to celebrate this community.
The LGBTQ+ Pride Booth in the Center of Progress Building is open every day, from August 26 to September 7, and the LGBTQ+ Pride Day will be Friday August 28th; the other special days we will celebrate at the 2026 LGBTQ+ Pride Booth at the New York State Fair are listed under the Theme Day tab on the navigation menu.
