The World Professional Association for Transgender Health conducts “clinical and academic research to develop evidence-based medicine…to promote evidence based care, education, research, public policy, and respect in transgender health.” They have published and updated the Standards of Care to “provide clinical guidance for health professionals to assist transgender and gender diverse people with safe and effective pathways to achieve lasting personal comfort with their gendered selves, and to maximize their overall health, psychological well-being, and self-fulfillment.” They provide training to healthcare providers, and have a list of certified providers searchable by location.
